Eddas Tech - 1/100 Asgard

Another pretty  massive kit from China that looks kinda similar to a Gunpla, imho a MKII Super Gundam. Basically metal frame, colored parts, waterslide decal, snapfit, clear parts etc; all packed into a reasonable price kit.

The build process is smooth, prepainted gold is pretty,  overall experience is pretty good. Probably the only 2 complaints are :
1) the waterslide decal carrier films isn't really good. Especially with a kit with so much design relies on waterslide decals
2) Way too massive where certain joints, especially the ankle n waist joints. As a result, like many big backpack kit, this kit isnt able to stand on its own with a good pose. For that, i have scratch build kinda support block to put in between legs so it is able to stand in display cabinet.

Cockroach Group Build

This is a very interesting kit from China. Like Zoids, it is supposed a mechanical machine with the shape n inspiration from a organism: cockroach, in this case.

We decided to make it a group build and to our surprise, more than 10 joined! Not expecting so many are interested in building a cockroach XD

Ok, pictures first:

There are a few notes for this build: First, initially i really have some problem with how to display this kit. by doing it without painting n no modification, i think it is kinda plain.
In the end, decided on presenting this like an insect specimen display.

Bullshit some names n descriptions using AI, make a photo frame, do a LED strips to lit up the display, and use some elastic strings to indicate the parts.

The only thing i know i shouldnt but still cannot resist to do is to have the lights ON the cockraoch. Afterall, it is supposed to be "dead" , a specimen for display. However, it is just too tempting n i failed to resist it XD

The 13th Group Build - Nu Gundam GB

This is a Nu Gundam group build n my kit is V-Tiger Nu Gundam

This is a super detail kit, doing it unpainted as a part of a 1month (initially) duration group build, Full metal frame n the whole kit is freaking heavy!

Fat Dude RX78-2

This is the fastest build i ever had. Friday night open box, Saturday afternoon done top coat n assembled.

It is  a very simple kit from China, branded 肥仔, aka Fat Dude. Pre painted, comes with a little waterslide decal, and small pieces of magnet for joint connection.

One thing I d learned from my previous build of the 3D printed resin kit: for such connection, it has gotta be magnet to magnet. Like the resin kit, magnet to metal, it will not be strong enough n the limbs could eaily fall off.

Luckily, this is exactly what it is. Having such a good time building this XD

SNAA Sun XH-01 隼

 Ok, photo first:

This is a relatively old kit from SNAA. Same, no paint, just snapfit, top coat, and added some decorative option parts.

Overall is the kit's joints are pretty satisfying (to me). The building process is fun n smooth.
