Vintage

When I was very young, my mother bought a small box of a jet plane model for me. It's a great deal as during that time, a toy to an low income Asian family, is something usually come only lots of persuasion, promises, results, and hardwork.
I cant remember what brand was that n what plane was that neither. Digging from memories, the size n the number of runners, it's probably a matchbox model which at that time, the indian roti guy on a motorcyle would sell them.

Anyway, that started my curiousity n love towards plastic model.

After all these years, learning to improve my skills, joining competitions, meeting new friends and being active in the community, suddenly I realize I regain my interest in building smaller n simpler projects. Of course, finding the old kits I admired but couldnt afford to buy n build during childhood has been my utmost interest for the recent one year.
I would say 80's is one of the golden age of japanese model industry. One can find lots n lots of experimental stuff from that era. Basically it is so much that until whenever u see a toy, if it is simple enough for a kid to build it by his own, there will be a model kit.

So this section of my blog is to dedicate for this sentimental feeling. Might not be all vintage kit, but more of kits that is kind "weird" when compared to the mainstream stuff.
