Armin van Buuren feat. Trevor Guthrie - This Is What It Feels Like

I really dont like trance, i gotta admit it.

When I first listen to it last year, I was in love with the melody of the song but just thought the trance beat kills it. Same feeling like the late 80's & early 90's where fantastic melodies was thrown into some enigma/jon sacada  type of electronic beats.

Thanks to the simplicity and power of internet now. Where we can find talented musicians and singers doing cover of songs in their own ways. Finally found a version which I love the song to be arranged in; though not professionally done, but, well, good enough.

This is the original song, in the case u r not familar with the song.

This is a cover by a youtube singer, beth.
Her official chanel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BethOfficial

This is from another singer, with a much lower hit rate n even more amateurish musically . However, her rendition is the closest I would love it to be.
Could be even more haunting though..... like holly brooks, tori amos etc.

Which would u prefer? :D

2011 XGB-Ma.K Wip

Basically this is more like a painting log, mostly recorded painting process.

1. First, did some texture, mostly rust onto surface before spray
2. Black
3. Enamel hand paint the rust. These color will be revealed once the main body paint is being chipped off.

1. Overall spray a layer of hairspray. Once areas that I want a total chip off, i use hair gel. Both these 2 material can be easily dissolved by water later.
2. While the hair spray n hair gel still wet, sprinkle salt on it. This round i m using ENO for the size is much smaller than the salt I have :D

Did a 3 color soft edge camo, and a yellow stripe. But i think i have chosen the wrong color as though it looks realistic in real, for photo, really hard to capture it as bright.

Music Box

This is a little project without paint, a multimedia kit from China.

The kit consist of cloth, wood, metal, paper, all sort of stuff to build the little music box. Basically I just add a little lace and some velvet to further make "soften" it :p

Not the most friendly instruction manual, but overall is just fun. Oh, it comes with a tube of white glue too, but mostly i use double sided tape and super glue.

2011 Infinite Creation Workshop 12 hours Ironman Marathon

Yes, as the title, we had this crazy little event in ICW few years ago.

Basically the time is within the first 15 days of Chinese New Year, a Friday night, from 7pm last till 7am on Saturday morning. Doors are closed, visitors allowed, take away food allowed, but participants are not allowed to leave the premises.

Oh yeah, a straight 12 hour locked in the workshop, besides working on plastic models, one are not allowed to bring his own gaming device, nor other form of entertainment; yes, no computer games.

A laptop is provided and shared for everybody to use, for uploading photos n updating status. that's all. Drinks n food are allowed..

Honestly, I think the time passed pretty fast and everybody had a great time; well, as i would love to believe so :D

Just some photos to remember such crazy time for friendship n bonding!
